Coming soon…..

Amber Foster

Amber Foster has been practicing as a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner for 14 years.  She received her Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Georgia Southern University.  She is an expert in hormone optimization therapy and lifestyle medicine. She believes that building a relationship with each patient is the foundation of quality healthcare. She enjoys spending time with husband (Joshua) and her kids (JR & Reese). She has no “free time” due to her teenagers’ sports schedules but you may see her sneaking out to read a book on her back porch out in the middle of nowhere

Danny’s Statement

I’m Danny Nobles, a nurse practitioner that graduated from UAB with a clinical residency in Emergency Medicine and currently hold the academic rank of Instructor in Neurologic Surgery at Mayo Clinic Florida. I became interested in the use of Peptide therapy for weight loss when I saw the struggles my wife had despite going to the gym four days a week as well as eating a modest diet. For years, she was told that she should just accept her weight because of her “age” and that if she became too depressed about it, then her doctors could just prescribe her an antidepressant. To me, this is an unacceptable answer. Discussing the issue of weight and fatigue with some of our other friends that were in similar situations, they were all given the same answer by their primary care or GYN health care providers.

This made no sense to me, why would you not go out of your way to help a patient feel better about themselves and deal with the issues of diminished weight loss with more than just a ,” you have to accept its your age” or, “an antidepressant may help you”. In truth though, i should be thankful for their dismissiveness, because it’s what led me to my current passion in medicine. I began to do research in medical journal archives and online libraries to find a safe pathway to weight loss and positive body image without addictive or dangerous side effects. This led me to peptide therapy. It’s a naturally occurring peptide chain in the body that was initially designed for management of hyperglycemia but found to have an unexpected finding of weight loss, improved blood pressure and now has been found to assist with drug/alcohol addiction.

In a similar fashion as I learned about pediatric medicine from my own children, I have first hand experience with a patient taking semaglutide. The first few days, Lori (my wife) had moderate fatigue but soon overcame this. In the days following, she had diminished drive to impulse eat, especially at night. Her meal portions were roughly 1⁄4 the size that they were prior to peptide treatment and most importantly, she feels good about her physical appearance
